Achievements and Trophies

Final Fantasy Resonance has 40 achievements on Steam and Xbox and 40 trophies on PlayStation (1 Platinum, 4 Gold, 7 Silver, 28 Bronze). None is missable or online, difficulty does not matter, and PowerPyx estimates 50 to 60 hours for the Platinum, Ultimate Fantasy, in one playthrough; the hardest is beating Ultima Weapon.

Final Fantasy Resonance has 40 achievements: 23 visible and 17 hidden on Steam (Steam Community, read Oct 25, 2026), and the same 40 as PlayStation trophies, 1 Platinum, 4 Gold, 7 Silver and 28 Bronze (PowerPyx, Oct 21, 2026). PowerPyx rates the Platinum 4 out of 10 for difficulty and 50 to 60 hours in a single playthrough, with no missable, online or difficulty-related trophies, so everything can be done on Casual. The hardest is My Name Is Ultima..., for beating the post-game superboss Ultima Weapon, a fight that ends in CGInferno's footage with Rain's "I'm glad we defeated it, then." Three days after the Oct 22, 2026 launch, 0.2% of Steam players had finished the story and Steam showed 0.0% for all 40 (Steam Web API, Oct 25, 2026).

The most common achievement is Kweh! (77.1%), ahead of clearing Chapter 1 (57.3%): the chocobo comes in Chapter 1, inside the demo, and demo saves carry over. Asked whether demo trophies must be earned again, PowerPyx's author answered that you carry on from exactly where you were and "won't need to unlock them again" (PowerPyx). See Demo and Save Transfer.

PlayStation, Xbox and Steam

There is no PS4 version, so there is no cross-buy, auto-pop or save transfer between PlayStation generations (PowerPyx). The Gold trophies are The Harder They Fall, Will Crystallized, Resonance Rapid Fire and My Name Is Ultima...; the Silver ones are Career Fighter, The Weaponsmith, Legendary Arms, Visions Assemble, Vision Connoisseur, The Sovereigns of the Planet and Keep Them on Their Toes. Game8's trophy page counts 29 Bronze, but the list itself has 28, matching PowerPyx (Game8). To read a hidden trophy on PlayStation, highlight it in the trophy list and press Square (Game8).

Xbox's own point values were not on any page our sources could reach as of Oct 25, 2026. Game8 lists Xbox-style points that add up to 1,000: 100 for Ultimate Fantasy, 75 for My Name Is Ultima..., 65 for each other Gold, 30 for each Silver and 15 for each Bronze. PureXbox reports about 70 hours for 100% on Xbox.

PowerPyx's roadmap

  1. Finish the story (about 40 hours). Pick up Tablet Shards as you go, and rotate Visions once each reaches Mastery Rank 9, which makes Vision Connoisseur come naturally.
  2. Side content (about 10 to 15 hours, by airship): party substories first for their stat boosts, then the Legendary Arms and Adamantite for the best weapons, then the high-level Cave Masters and the Colosseum.
  3. Ultima Weapon last (1 to 5 hours), with your best gear, maxed Visions and level 60 to 65 or more, then grind any Resonances you still need.

Source: PowerPyx, Oct 21, 2026. After the story you get a clear save with free roam of the whole map, quests and collectibles, so nothing is lost by finishing first.

Tips for the harder ones

My Name Is Ultima... Ultima Weapon is level 70 with about 3.9 million HP at Ardra Crater, after the story. PowerPyx beat it at about level 60 with Dualcast Ultima, Reraise and Sakura's Eternal Veil against Ultima Beam; the full plan is on Ultima Weapon.

Resonance Rapid Fire (400 Resonances, 0.1% on Steam). PowerPyx's farm: equip a Vision whose Resonance heals (Leah or Ayaka), leave one enemy alive, stagger it, fire the Resonance, heal the enemy so it survives, Defend to pass turns, and repeat. With four Visions equipped across the party you choose which Resonance fires.

Will Crystallized (all 26 Visions) needs the optional Sephiroth fight and every sub quest Vision; see Visions.

Sephiroth's Vision is the one most players get last: he is level 45 with 250,000 HP (GameRant), and in CGInferno's footage the crystal in Whirlpool Hollow says after the win that he "most certainly" knows your strength now.

The Harder They Fall (all 15 Cave Masters, Gold). The last three, in the Kingdom of Pharm, are level 60 in PowerPyx's list. Locations are on Cave Masters.

Legendary Arms and The Weaponsmith. The 12 Arms need Ancient items from all over the world, two of them from Merchant Trader ships in Chapter 8 for 40,000 and 45,000 gil (PowerPyx). The Weaponsmith needs Aileen to forge all eight party weapons from the eight Adamantite, three of which come from the Colosseum (PowerPyx); see Crafting and Adamantite. In Gamer Guru's footage each Ancient item turns into its Arm after the pedestal fight, here the Ancient Accessory into the Gold Hairpin.

Career Fighter. The Colosseum menu lists each league's five battles, as in Gamer Guru's footage. The Gladiator League opens in Chapter 8; its fifth fight ends with a 100,000-damage Last Breath, so have Reraise up (RPG Site). The Champion League is not needed.

Memento (60 Tablet Shards). Turn 60 shards in to the enigmatic princess at Oblivion Palace, southeast of Grandport Harbor; you do not have to claim the chest rewards to trigger the memory. Princess's Reward needs only 3 (PowerPyx).

Making Lid Proud and Gil Comes and Goes. The first counts all gil you ever earn (1,000,000): farm King Gil Snappers, use Vaan at Mastery Rank 9 for Double Gil, or sell spare gear. For the second, PowerPyx suggests a manual save, spending 100,000 gil at shops, then reloading.

Mechabo Mania. Verun's three Mechabo quests run from Chapter 2 ("Arise, Mechabo!" at the Dwarven Forge) to after Chapter 5 ("Mechabo Unleashed", hunting Mahadevas and Malbodooms); finish by talking to Verun on the airship (PowerPyx).

Struck Gold and Priceless Experience. The King Gil Snapper appears from Chapter 7 in the Kingdom of Pharm (Game8), and PowerPyx's Dragon's Maw island at the southern tip of Pharm spawns both it and the Metal Gigantuar (8 HP, high evasion, flees; Dualcast Ultima works). See EXP, Gil and MRP Farming.

Awakened Light. A Vision goes from zero to three stars with a Magicite Shard, a Magicite, then a Magicite Cryst; Crysts first appear in Chapter 5, and PowerPyx says there is enough Magicite to take every Vision to three stars.

Keep Them on Their Toes (1,000 staggers) unlocks by itself around Chapter 4, PowerPyx says, and Those Who Defy Fate pops when the eighth party member joins in Chapter 5.

The easy ones

Kweh! comes in Chapter 1, when you rent a chocobo in the Village of Kol, as GamerFuzion's demo guide says; Airship Enterprise comes with the airship at the turn of Chapters 4 and 5 (PowerPyx; RPG Site). The eight chapter clears, Esper's Covenant (3 Espers), Visions Assemble (10 Visions) and The First Step Towards Mastery all arrive while you play the story.

Magicite Hunter is the first Cave Master: the level 15 Marauder in the Marauder Cave, which drops a Magicite Shard, GamerFuzion's guide says. It is within reach in Chapter 1, even in the demo.
